CREATOR OF THE VISION ENHANCING METHOD
Dr. Ana M. Juricic, a Low Vision Optometrist and creator of the Vision Enhancing Method, is a leader in the field of vision rehabilitation services for individuals living with vision loss. She has put more than 26 years of experience to create the Vision Enhancing Method which focuses on vision health and vision solutions beyond the traditional.
Dr. Juricic takes great pride in the work she does, listening to her patients needs and goals with an open heart so that she can create the best vision enhancing solutions.
She has helped tens of thousands of people living with vision loss through various solutions to maximize remaining vision so they can once again read, see faces of loved ones, watch TV or enjoy day to day activities.
Dr. Juricic’s mission is to let people know the HELP that IS AVAILABLE when dealing with decreased vision.
Dr. Ana Juricic got inspired to do the work that she does, soon after graduating from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry (1996), when she returned to her hometown of Windsor, Ontario and kept hearing patients say that the doctor told them "There is nothing more that can be done." When these words are told to an individual from an eye specialist, a person often loses all hope.
In some cases, there may no longer be much that an ophthalmologist (eye specialist) can do medically or surgically, however in many cases an individual may still have remaining vision that can be maximized.
Dr. Juricic is committed to giving people back their hope with her years of experience and the incredible solutions she has put together to help enhance individuals remaining vision or offer alternative ways to achieve their vision goals.
Among serving her community with vision needs, Dr. Juricic is part of :
* International speaker in the field of Low Vision Rehabilitation in Canada, USA, and Europe.
* Member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists
* Ontario Association of Optometrists
* Involved with the CNIB and Fighting Blindness Canada.
Dr. Ana has participated in Fighting Blindness Canada’s Cycle for Sight for 9 years.
She is the proud recipient of the Canadian Croatian Chamber of Commerce “Professional of the Year Award” in 2008. Since 2005, Dr. Juricic along with her sister, Dr. Zora Juricic, has sponsored the Vinko and Iva Juricic Award for Perseverance for a graduating optometry student from University of Waterloo. Dr. Juricic’s proudest achievement is being the mother to four amazing children.

Each member of our vision care team is selected by Dr. Ana M. Juricic based upon his or her experience, professional demeanor, and dedication to providing the gold standard of care to patients.
Our entire staff is committed to ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of each and every patient. We will do our best to accommodate your busy schedule by finding appointment times that meet your needs. Our knowledgeable vision team members are ready to assist you with the latest in low vision technology. We strive to provide comprehensive eye exams, as well as personalized care when choosing a suitable low vision device.

Working alongside Dr. Juricic, Daniela has enjoyed learning about vision, she is constantly learning more about Dr. Juricic´s expertise and experience and all the surprising and incredible ways to help patients to be able to see again.
Daniela joined the team in Spring 2022 as a low vision assistant and marketing liaison. Daniela has been able to use her marketing degree to help create Dr. Juricic’s new educational platform into a reality. When asked what Daniela has enjoyed about her role she said “I have learned that Low Vision Examinations go beyond a regular eye exam. It is about finding ways to make a difference and change lives. We as a team are having a positive impact on our patients' lives including their physical, social, and emotional well–being.”
SIOBHAN L

Siobhan is passionate about providing exceptional care as an Optometric Assistant for the past 20 years. She joined Dr Ana Juricic's team in 2018 and has adored getting to know our incredible patients.
Siobhan is usually the first person you will speak to as part of Dr Juricic’s eye care team. Many patients and caregivers comment how much they enjoyed speaking with Siobhan and how they felt they were listened to. When asked what Siobhan likes about working at the office she stated, “I love continuing to learn about Low Vision and forever grateful to be a part of such an incredible team that I know is helping so many people who live with vision loss be aware of the help that is available.”

Our new clinic is located on the south side of Bloor St. In the west end of Toronto (Etobicoke), Between Royal York and Islington Avenue along the Bloor/Danforth subway line.
